WHY CALVARY YOUTH EXISTS

Gather, Grow, and Go

Calvary Youth exists to help students become faithful disciples of Jesus through biblical teaching, worship, service, fellowship, and real-life application.

We want students to know they are loved, understand what they believe, develop leadership, and learn how to follow Christ at school, at home, with friends, and wherever God sends them.

We are not just building a youth group. We are helping students become disciples.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

Five Ministry Priorities

These priorities shape our teaching, relationships, events, and leadership development.

Discipleship

Teaching biblical truth students can understand, apply, and live out every day.

LUKE 9:23–24 • MATTHEW 28:18–20
Meaningful Relationships

Creating a safe place where students are known, loved, encouraged, and supported.

PROVERBS 27:17 • JOHN 15:13
Student Leadership

Giving students opportunities to lead, serve, share their faith, and use their gifts.

1 TIMOTHY 4:12 • PHILIPPIANS 2:3
Purposeful Programming

Planning camps, retreats, trips, and events around the mission to Gather, Grow, and Go.

MATTHEW 18:20
Partnering With Parents and Volunteers

Parents and guardians have the greatest day-to-day influence in a student’s life. We want to encourage families, support volunteers, and work together to help students follow Jesus faithfully.

DEUTERONOMY 6:7–9 • PSALM 78:4

NEW TO CALVARY YOUTH?

Your First Visit

Walking into a new student ministry can feel awkward. Our goal is to make it easy to find the room, meet people, and feel included.

Go to the third floor. The Youth Room is our main gathering space.

Tell a leader you are new. We will introduce you to a few students and help you settle in.

Come as you are. Bring a Bible if you have one, but it is not required for a first visit.

FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

Questions Are Welcome

Contact the church office before a visit to ask about the schedule, activities, transportation, events, or anything else that would help your family feel prepared.
