Calvary Baptist Church participates in a mission trip to the Calvary Campus in Blackey, Kentucky each year to encourage, serve, provide and share with the people of Blackey.  In 2019, Calvary Baptist church members were able to serve meals to local schools and nursing homes; play games and provide encouragement to residents at local nursing homes; provide supplies to local school children; help stuff backpacks for local schools to give out at Christmas time; and supply local hospitals and hospices with care bags for their residents and patients. In our global efforts, we partner with the Building Believers in Christ (BBIC) organization in Guatemala. Each year, Calvary takes a Medical Mission trip in an effort to share the gospel with the people of Guatemala through medicine, hugs and smiles.  Please let us know if you are interested in attending our next trip. Mission’s Highlights
 
Calvary Baptist Church partnered with Jose & Gaby Rivero De Prado of Goyenaga and Hope Ministries. Two teams have traveled to Costa Rica to work with Jose and Gaby. Also, Calvary sent a team on a vision trip with Jose to Cuba.
 
Calvary Baptist Church partners with the BBIC in Guatemala with missionaries Josh & Jessica Byrd and Elvis & Callie Tidwell.  Calvary has hosted medical mission teams in October over the last four years. Mission Teams have helped build the City of Refuge and built a home for a family in need.
 
Calvary Baptist Church partnered with First Baptist Church Colbert Heights in 2012, 2013, and 2014 to work with Jim Danielson in Milton, Ontario.
 
Calvary Baptist Church went on instate mission trips to Blackey, Kentucky to work with Paul & Mary Jo Radosevich.
 
Calvary Baptist Church went on a mission trip to Thermopolis,  Wyoming to work with church planters, Frank & Karen Robbins.
 
Bro. Darrell Pace (with the support of the church) went to Southeast Asia to aid the Hughes Family (IMB).
 
Bro. Darrell Pace (with the support of the church) joined with other pastors from the Colbert Lauderdale Baptist Association for a vision trip to develop partnerships with Church Planters in Toronto, Canada coordinated by the North American Mission Board.
 
Bro. Darrell Pace (with the support of the church) traveled with a team to Israel, partnering with Friends of Nazareth. He preached in Jerusalem churches and toured the Nazareth Baptist School.
