A Simple Gift With an Eternal Purpose
Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that works with local churches and individuals to pack shoeboxes filled with small gifts, practical necessities, and gospel materials.
These boxes are delivered to children around the world. Each shoebox is an opportunity to remind a child that someone cares for them, is praying for them, and wants them to know the love of Jesus Christ.
Shoeboxes Packed and Shipped
Throughout the year, Calvary collects gifts and raises funds to help cover the shipping costs for each box.
Each November, our church family gathers in the gym for a packing party and works together to prepare hundreds of shoeboxes.
Donate Items for a Shoebox
Below are suggested donation items from the official Operation Christmas Child packing information.
Donations may be dropped off at the Calvary Baptist Church office Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM.
Load and Transport Day 2025
After the boxes are packed, volunteers help organize, load, and transport them so they can continue their journey to children around the world.

Our church family works together throughout the year to collect supplies, prepare boxes, and get everything ready for the annual packing and delivery process.

There are many ways to help: donate small items, give toward shipping expenses, attend the packing party, help load boxes, or pray for the children who will receive them.
