How Ca Be Saved?

A simple, Bible-based guide to the good news of Jesus Christ.

God created you to know Him.

Our sin separates us from God, but God made a way for us to be forgiven through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible explains this good news through what many call the Romans Road to Salvation.

This is the most important decision you will ever make.

God created you for a relationship with Him.
He knows you, loves you, and invites you to know Him.

Sin has broken that relationship.
Every person has sinned and needs God’s forgiveness.

Jesus made forgiveness possible.
He died for our sins and rose again in victory.

We Have All Sinned

ROMANS 3:23

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

No one is perfect. Every one of us has disobeyed God.

No one can earn God’s favor by trying to be good enough.

Every one of us needs God’s forgiveness.

Sin separates us from God.

But God offers something we could never earn:

Eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Sin Has a Consequence

ROMANS 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

3

Jesus Paid the Price

ROMANS 5:8

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Jesus took our place.

He died for our sins.

He was buried.

He rose again in victory.

His sacrifice makes forgiveness possible.

We are not saved by:

Good works

Religion

Trying harder

We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Salvation Is Received by Faith

ROMANS 10:9–10

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

5

God’s Invitation Is for Everyone

ROMANS 10:13

“For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

No matter your past.

No matter your mistakes.

Jesus invites you to come to Him.

God promises forgiveness and eternal life to everyone who places their trust in Christ.

What Does It Mean to Trust Jesus?

Admit that you are a sinner.

Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.

Turn from your sin and turn toward Christ.

Trust Jesus alone as your Savior and Lord.

EPHESIANS 2:8–9

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

You Can Call on Jesus Today

Prayer itself does not save us—Jesus saves. But when you are ready to turn from sin and trust Him, you can speak to Him honestly.

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and place my faith in You alone as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me and giving me the gift of eternal life. Help me follow You and live for You each day. Amen.”
